 Borked Weaknesses.

Scenario 1: I'm in the waterways, and I see Gigantoads. Ice! ... No, apparently not. Bolt? Oh, THAT works!

Scenario 2: Antlion's cave. Hey, that turtle is weak to ic- no it isn't. Bolt again?


Multiple enemies throughout the game are pretty far changed from their originals to the point of defying logic. The reptiles in particular really wouldn't logically be any more succeptible to lightning than the imps they sometimes accompany, and ice should really work a number on them due to being cold blooded, right? They were weak to ice in the original, and it keeps messing veterans of the official FF4s up.

Reptiles are, for some reason, all listed under the "aquatic" type. Think of it as like the water type in pokemon, where everything that lives in the water would have a weakness to electricity.

That's pretty weird, but I guess if we can keep it in mind we can get used to it.

I don't know, you can go ahead and ask some other players what they think. Personally I don't really mind which way it is.
